2018 Dog License

The City of Osseo Code of Ordinances, Section 7-1, states that “It shall be unlawful for any person in the City of Osseo to own, harbor or keep any dog more than five (5) months of age as of January 1 of any year, or five (5) months of age within the license year without paying a license fee and obtaining a dog license”.  State Law Section 174.05 through 174.10, Wisconsin Statutes also requires that a Rabies Vaccination be required for each license.  A late fee of $5.00 will be added to each license purchased after March 31st of each year.

Licenses can be purchased at City Hall providing all proper documentation and appropriate fees are received.  All delinquent dog owners are turned over to the Trempealeau County District Attorney’s office by September each year.
