Recycling Center Hours

Osseo Area Recycling Center
will resume
regularly scheduled hours

The Recycling Center will be resuming Saturday hours again starting Saturday April 18th. We will still be practicing social distancing and will be setting up recycling bins in a way that mitigates person to person contact. Thank you for being patient with us during this trying time.

Regular Hours:
Tuesday: 9:00AM – 12:00PM
Thursday: 2:00PM – 5:00PM
Saturday: 9:00AM – 2:00PM


Counting Ballots

The City of Osseo will begin counting our ballots from the April 7th Spring
Election and Presidential Preference Vote at 4:00 p.m. today, April 13th,
2020.

If you are interested in watching this process, it is open to the public.

Change of Date

The Regular City Council meeting for February has been moved ahead one week. We will be meeting on Monday, February 3rd, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. instead of February 10th.


Winter Parking Regulations

SEC. 10-1-27 City of Osseo, Code of Ordinances

In order to facilitate the efficient and expeditious removal of snow from City streets during winter months, it shall be unlawful for any vehicle to park on any City street from November 1 to April 15 from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

7th Street Parking Lot project & Handicap stall

Starting the 1st of October, HAAS and Sons of Eau Claire will be completing two separate projects for the City of Osseo. The 7th street gravel parking lot will be paved over with adequate parking spots and handicap stalls being installed for increased parking in the downtown area. In addition to this, the City is putting in an observation deck next to the parking lot overlooking the river. The project is expected to be completed by November 1st. The second project will be the installation of a functional ADA compliant parking area in front of Hauge Memorial Library. This project is expected to begin on the 14th of October, and will be completed by the 1st of November. The Library will be making appropriate accommodations for access through the rear entrance.
