Full Time Laborer Position

The City of Osseo is seeking a full time public works employee. Responsibilities include a wide range of street maintenance and construction activities, snow plowing, heavy equipment operation, assistance with sewer and water operations, maintenance and operation of parks and other city facilities. Applicant should be in very good physical condition and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., able to work outdoors in all types of weather, have a valid Wisconsin driver license, possess or capable of obtaining a CDL within six (6) months of employment, have prior work experience or training in maintaining equipment and vehicles, works well with people, and willing to pursue any training that may be required. Real Estate Taxes Due

The second installment of the 2020 Real Estate taxes are due on or before July 31st. All payments shall be made to the Trempealeau County Treasurer, P O Box 67, Whitehall, WI 54773.


Lake Martha Days

We are so happy to have had such a successful turnout for Lake Martha Days this year. We hope everyone had a great time.

 


5th Street Project Update

We are currently working on getting all of the concrete curb and gutter started on the 5th street project. We will be pouring for the next three days. We are asking everyone to please not drive over any of the concrete until tuesday or wednesday of next week. The concrete is safe to walk on, but is not cured enough for vehicle traffic. Thank you for your understanding and patience during the project.


Pool Opening Date

Due to mechanical issues, the pool will not be open this weekend. Our staff and several local companies have been working around the clock to fix the issues. The opening date is now scheduled for Monday, June 7th. The pool hours this year are 1:00p.m. – 7:00p.m.


Board of Review

Our annual Board of Review will be held on Monday, May 24th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of the City Hall. This meeting is open to the public and all interested parties are encouraged to attend.

  2. Search for existing donors.

5th Street Project Update

5th Street Project update. HAAS has begun laying new water mains under West Street. On Monday, there will be a temporary shut off of the water throughout the project area. the outage is expected to begin at 8:00 am and end at 12:00 pm. This will be the only time most people are without water during the project. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our community members. HAAS will be hanging tags on all affected homes 24-48 hours before the shutoff.
